We are travelling independently to Tanzania at the end of January and are doing 8 nights Safari in two different locations, then 4 nights in Zanzibar.
The way flights work out and the train to the Selous, we have to stay two nights in Dar es Salaam. The trouble is finding a decent hotel to stay in there as they all seem to be Holiday Inn type places which we don't particularly want to do. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Dar (not a resort hotel out of the city)?
