We've just come back from and Dassia loved it. With ages 47,38,16 & 13 we all had a great time in a lovely place. It's not very big so no Discos or night clubs but plenty of bars and restaurants.I think you'd find it hard to have a bad meal anywhere. We ate in a different place everynight and weren't dissapointed. For a mid-day drink and a snack I would reccomend Dassia Dreams. The woman who runs it is English and the food is great. It's also had an internet connection which was handy for the kids.
There are boats trips you can book on the beach. They include food and cost about €20 each. We did the trip that goes north and we had plenty of stops and time to shop in a lovely village. Would have liked to have done the evening trip to Corfu town but ran out of time.
There were also a couple of places along the street were you could book trips although we didn't use them they seemed really good. There's one by the ' cake shop' which also changes your money for you.
There are several ATM's if you need them. And english speaking Doctors.
Any 'Mossie' stuff you might need buy out there as it's really cheap but take sun cream with you. Anything else you need can be bought locally as there are plenty of shops that seemed to sell almost anything.
They have a good local bus service or you can hire scooters for about €15 a day.
We stayed at the Mirabello which was beautiful - Where are you staying ?
I think you'll have a great time.

It is poorly located, the food barely achieves tolerable and the wine is worse.
The Russians seem to like it. Let them have it.
WORST hotel i have ever had the misfortune to stay in anywhere in the world.
Have to agree with you JRob, we had a group of 12 stay at the Tilemachos (more commonly known as Hellimachos) last year, without a doubt the Post a Reply
