Hi - when I was in Malgrat I went on a day trip to Andorra: it was actually organised through the Airtours rep since I was travelling with them. It was a long time on the coach there and back but the scenery was fantastic and the guide on our trip was so knowledgeable about the whole area it made for a very interesting day out. A bit tiring but worth it - I really really enjoyed it. Not too much time actually in the town when we got there - maybe 2 - 3 hours, and probably spent in all about 8/9 hours on the coach on the day, so it may be better to go and stay the night there.
