Hi,
We are looking to go to Holland in August and thought a break to CenterParcs (CP) would be good.
We have been to Longleat and Elveden in the UK and we love the outdoor activities etc. Is Holland like the UK parcs?
Can we hire bikes, book sports activities etc?
Is the accommodation very much the same. We want to book an Executive villa preferably.
Also, is this parc near the Efteling Theme Park ?? If so how far.
Thanks for any info you can give me.
If you scroll down the topics page look for my thread 'CenterParcs Holland'.I was given some excellent info.
Hope it is of use.
Anyway, De Efteling is about 1 1/2 hours drive, but well worth it. Get there early - before opening time - get a car park place near the entrance. And enjoy yourselves - which is very easy to do. We were there when our girls were 3 and 5, and they still remember it 3 years later (especially the talking rubbish bins). I think it's owned by the same group as Alton Towers, but the parks are very different.
We've just booked to go to Duinrell park on the North Holland Coast (complete with swimming complex and theme park), but intend to take at least 1 day off to go to De Efteling.
It was excellent - and we didn't even try the scarier rides (the children wanted to, but we're too scared).
