thats good news and if you become a regular you might even get discount, the Captain Pier was doing a thing a few years ago where if you booked certain weeks so many years in advance you got a speacial rate, i don't know if they still do this but it might be worth popping down and having a chat with Petros, Yiannis or Tony its a small family hotel very nice people, but you could always ask at the Debbinexa if they do anything similar.
have a great time next week you lucky person
Personally we wouldn't stay at the Captain Pier again. The location is good and the apartments are quite adequate, but we didn't find the people very friendly. I know it was the end of the season, but they were packing all the sunbeds and bar away before us few remaining tourists had left the hotel. Also they turned the TV round so they could see it in reception, but we couldn't in the bar. Just small things, but we felt they couldn't wait for everyone to go.
We have stayed there many times independently but this year we were unable to book - we were really disappointed as we find the family really friendly and the apartments are really nice with views over the beach.
We have had to book elsewhere so have booked the Domniki which is close by and also located right on the beach.
It will feel really strange staying somewhere else - I hope we like it!!
Hi Amber. My husband did say they were signed up for Scandanavian tourists with Tui but i thought he had got mixed up.It is a shame but you can still pop down for a drink with them,
Me and my boyfriend are looking into next years holida. We are thinking cyprus as neither have been there before (we have been to spain, balerics and greece so far together)
Just saw a great deal on the Debbielexina (sp) for £680 between us for two weeks next june.
Just a few questions really:
Hotel? whats it like, has anyone been, how far is it from beach, restaurants etc
What is protarus like?
How long is the flight?
What is the airport like?
How expensive/ cheap is it out there? say a meal for two???
Any other advise really, would be a great help. xx

Click Here for our reviews of this complex from people who have stayed here this year.
I went to have a look at it when I was over there in June as I was looking for somewhere to stay this time.
The manager Nicos seems a really nice guy.
I have discussed this with someone on here that has stayed there and he was very complimentary towards debbiexenia.
Just a couple things that I can already answer.
Debbiexenia is in Pernera which is a quieter part of Protaras, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the main strip of Protaras but you can also get there for 70c on the bus or cyp£4 taxi.
The nearest beach Loumi beach is approx 100 yards away and that has all the watersports, parascending etc.
Flight is approx 4 hours 30 mins out and 5 hours back.
Larnaca airport can get a bit busy but then most resort airports are the same.
Anything else you want to know just ask.
When I get back on the 1st Oct I can give you more info on Debbiexenia if you haven't already booked your holiday by then.
Ian.
Really big apartment and it's only me in there.
Cleaners have tried to come in everyday, they finally got in today when I wasn't there. They were a bit early yesterday waking me up at 10.15am and I wasn't feeling that good after a night on the Keo lol.
People at Debbiexenia are great, Nicos the manager and Yannis the barman. Even George the nightwatchman is a good guy.
I would recomend the debbiexenia to anyone.
and they let you back into your apartment when you lock yourself out dont they cardiff....but thats another thread..mmmmmmm just given me an idea...
No comment Hev.
I've finally had a chance to put my review on of the Debbiexenia so it's now there for all to read.
