hi just got back today from my holiday with dedicated holidays, in villa helga,
we were having a lovely time , then 4 days into our holiday, our safe got broke into and all our money stole, and rings, mobile phone etc, so we were left with no money and had to sleep that night in the bedroom, with the doors open as they were broke, we were them moved to martha hotel, half board , because we had no money, and it was bad!! the food was terrible, and we didnt have a good holiday,! ill talk more later x

Dear me. We're a hard working normal GCSE level Family with three kids and i'm afraid to say this place was a real disappointment. Not chavs, not tracky wearing hoodlams. We have three kids aged between 4 and 14 and had the misfortune of booking the club mac villas with Dedicated holidays. a really poor company but more on that later.

Considering this is all inclusive you WILL be faced with social club type bars in the hotels where if you have not 'bagged' a table by 4-5pm, you've no chance of being seated at all. what's really annoying and this is one argument i'm fighting over at the moment, is that all three hotels bars' are licensed to hold under a thousand people yet all three hotels accomodate 2800 guests so Club Mac are knowingly pushing more than half of their guests off site to keep their profit margin up. The food was reasonable to start with but soon you saw past the large choice of dishes and realised what was being served was quite flavourless and on the whole - cold. Catering for the masses i imagine is never easy, but to serve cold food and not use the bain marie things properly is unforgiven. If we had been expected to pay for food at a "three star" restaurant - as this is supposed to be, we wouldn't have paid the bill and would more than likely left through main course.

It would seem we were there at the start of the season although no mention of this was made at the time of booking. One hotel was closed, a lot of activities were closed like the outdoor entertainment area. Kids activities were very poor. One kids disco in the vening for 20 mins is all we saw. It's a shame because i'm sure it wouldn't have been as bad if it had been peak season.

Dedicated holidays however say it's all a matter of choice. On the complaint over the food, they say food is just a matter of personal choice - cold must be acceptable to them. They made no apology for the fact that on an all inclusive holiday we were knowingly driven off site and when we did mention to their rep, about the lack of seating and things for kids to do in the evening, he told us the "cheers" bar in lacudia was good for keeping kids entertained - and it was but rep, you missed the point, we booked as a family with kids to a complex with Evening entertainemnt, teenagers entertainemnt and outside entertainemnt area which in the same order were "poor", "non-existant" & "closed all fortnight". If we were booking out of season then A) it wasn't reflected in the price and B) we weren't informed of it.

As my wife said upon return, she wishes we hadn't bl&&^^ well bothered and after a year of saving and spending 2500 euros whilst there, it's a real shame we feel this way.

Dedicated holidays are terrible, really poor. Just say that everything is beyond their control and they do "advise hoteliers to have all amenities open as advised" and that all services are advertised in "good faith" Good faith - yeah right - none towards the end customer though
