..do you not think it is a fact that the likes of ryanair,easyjet.e.t.c. have increased the flight times ,i.e. ryanair to girona from blackpool have increased 30 minutes is this to cover in case they are late by 25 minutes they can say they are on time.

Yes. Easyjet's Belfast/Glasgow service for example is scheduled as a 45 minute flight. In reality, it rarely takes more than 20 minutes. So even if it is 15 minutes late in departing, it still arrives 10 minutes early as far as Easyjet are concerned. A 25 minute delayed departure would still allow the flight to arrive on time.
