We stayed at Dennys Inn (assuming thats where you are talking about) for our hooneymoon 12 years ago and it was excellent. I know things have changed a lot on Zante and assume Kalamaki would be more built up now, but would assume it is still a lot quieter than other resorts.

Like almost everywhere in Greece the owners and staff were very friendly and the whole atmosphere was chilled. Never saw a cloud for a fortnight. Although the hotel is in the flightpath the noise was never intrusive and no flights at night, don't know if that's still the same.

The biggest shock to us was the brochure had said it was a 7 minute stroll to the beach, so being a bit sad and someone who if walked any slower would go backwards, and it was exactly 7 minutes. What a shock a brochure with the truth in it. The good thing also was the beach never had too many people and an even better thing was Laganas was a half hours walk away, so the peace wasn't interupted.

No doubt others will give you more up to date info as the days go by.

thanks for your reply. i'm afraid its just called denny apartments and not denny's inn cause someone else answered me on another forum saying about the bar and pool etc but the one we are going to is opposite i think the cronella hotel and next door to scorpion bar. we have been to alykes and alykanas few year back but never to kalamaki. thnks again for your help steakychick ps if you know roughy the other places i mentioned you might know how near beach etc we are thanks :
