We have just booked for 12th Sept from Glasgow and have a few questions:
Has any one been? Any tips?
Is it in a good location?
Can anyone recommend any Local/traditional restaurants

Hi, The Diamond in SB is right on the main road near to the bus,police stations. Hotel Oasis is nearby on the opposite side of the road.
Was upgraded to a 4* for last year but the Oasis is a similar 4* but is a lot better.Check out the hotel review section on the top of page, sorry , but they are not very complimentary. Saying that, we are all different and one man's meat is another's poison.
the location for the centre/beach is superb and you have numerous eating places within easy reach. decent chinese in bus station, Malina's , Jupiters,Djany's all excellent and within 5 mins walk.
We will be in SB again on the 4th Sept so I hope we both enjoy ourselves.

Cheers, I only found this website today so didnt read the reviews prior to booking.
I did read some reviews (from holiday uncovered) and they were mainly good ( a few bad uns as well).
We wnated self catering and couldnt find any. It seems there are a few on here who could have helped out!! Too late now I guess.

we go to this hotel 22 august from manchester. it will be our first time to bulgaria. i usually go all inclusive , but after checking bulgaria on this site and others decided to go self-catering.
i like my comforts and having read the comments on the hotel it has not put me off at all. the hotel for me is somewhere to sleep. if ther staff cant understand me - tough i will drink elswhere.
as for the comments on litter in the corridoors etc. this will happen in any hotel and groups of kids together will always make a noise. (try an extra couple of drinks ! )
having said that i will give an honest opinion of this hotel when i return on 5th september, or before if internet access available near hotel via this thread if still opened.

can ayone tell me if the hotel diamond is now 18 -30 based? . not been for 2 years but had a great time for 3 years before that and was looking to go this year but not if its 18 -30 based.

hi all , just got a really good price for next year staying at the hotel diamond with thomas cook, any feedback on this hotel and its location would be appreciated also on the map i can see a hotel diamant is this the same hotel
