As requested, we now have a thread where our disabled holidaymakers can ask away about hotels or resorts. Also, if you have been to a hotel or guesthouse which is suitable for wheelchair access please tell everyone here
Fiona
hi just a quick note about the nanu resort hotel, we have just come back from the nanu and it was a realy good hotel with wheelchair accsess to all parts so any disabled travlers intersted in goa this hotel is nice and quite
It would be handy if members recommended hotels suitable for wheelchair users- thanks ajb. Anyone else recommend a hotel?
The Highland beach resort in Candoloim has ground level rooms with wheelchair ramps.
we have stayed at the longuinhos hotel in colva and that was fine the ground floor rooms you can wheel straight in and you can get to colva beach just a short push away with no trouble and plenty of shops on the way, we have also been to the dona sylvia hotel in cavelossim and that also is fairly good with just the odd step, although any entertainment is done in the upstairs bar but i dont think youll mis much. by far the best hotel we have stayed in yet is the nanu resort in colva only one small step in the hotel and thats to the resturant, the hotel is out the way a bit but its only a 150Rs in to the centre of colva beach where there are lots of shops and resturants
now we are at a quiet time, I wonder if anyone can add anything to this thread? Are any of the hotels or guesthouses you've been to wheelchair friendly? What about restaurants?
