its about a 2 hour drive !

Pafos is in the west coast of the island and Protaras on the east !

There is a "motorway" running right across, more or less joining the two (using English type signs, junctions and rules*)

*although some may not abide by those rules !

If you are a decent confident driver you will have no problems driving between them, we did it the first time we ever went without even using a map ! (we knew basically the main resorts of Protaras, then Larnaka, Limassol and Pafos... so we jumped on the motorway and aimed at those signs..)

About two hours on a good day but it depends a lot on the traffic around Limasol, where they are building a series of flyovers.
If you hit that lot in the 'rush hour' it can add quite a bit to the journey.

If you are doing the trip it's well worth detouring from the motorway on the last section and stopping off at Petra Tou Roumio (Aphrodites birthplace) just to take in the view.

Have fun!

All of the flyovers, bar one, are finished. Avoid rush hour and its not bad at all any more.
The last one is due for completion "soon" - but remember TIC, "This Is Cyprus" ;)
