Divar and Chora Islands

Looking at also visiting one or both Islands. Any useful info would be much appreciated. Do you catch the ferry from Panjim? Is it easy to travel around the islands, taxis etc.
Think I will need another holiday after this one just to recover from the stacked itinery which seems to be growing by the day.

Catch the flat bottom ferry to Chorao from Ribander, on the road to Old Goa from Panjim. It costs 4 Rs for a scooter or bike foot passengers are free.
You will be accosted by touts, who may think you are going to Salim Ali bird sanctuary. The touts will charge you 600 Rs for a canoe to take you through the mangroves. Just get off the ferry at the other side and negotiate your own canoe - 300 Rs is a fair price.
Taxis and buses wait at the other side.

In recent years, there has been some new resorts/hotels built on the island, but apart from that they are pretty featureless.

Thanks Max13biker - I wanted to go back up to Old Goa so could coincide the islands.
Not sure about my own canoe, tend to make myself dizzy going round in circles
