It's standard in Spain but we found that in Cyprus this year only one restaurant had any and it really put us off going back there as the evenings were so uncomfortable.
It's a real deal breaker for us we have already booked next years holiday to Marmaris but would certainly reconsider if we have crazy temperatures with no respite to look forward to again. We love the weather but being able to chill out in the evening with some respite really is important to us.
Most bars and restaurants in Turkey are outdoors so don't generally have air conditioning.

In Icmeler this year we saw a massive increase in the number of restaurants that use a spray mist which is very cooling but they don't tend to turn it on until everyone has eaten.
