Reading the restuarant reviews on TA has made me think.
Do we need to book tables in restaurants, like the day before? Or can you just turn up and eat in most places?
We are lucky in that when we go to Turkey it is fairly quiet as it's the start of the season so have never had to book to eat.
I think what time of the year you are going has a lot to do with it, and that would probably be for the most popular ones. We go in Feb and last year it was advisable to book at, Jamies(Baga),All Spice(Apora)Kim Faa(Baga) Bistro(Candolim) Thai at Mira(Calangute)...I am not saying you wont get in at theses places but sometimes you can have a long wait, any restaurant will not want to turn any business away and they may tell a little fib about the waiting time. Another thing to take into account is Saturday Markets can have a huge effect on how busy some places are (especially Apora)... I am sure someone who's there now will give us an idea of how busy the popular places are......cheers Keith
Great - thanks Keith. That's more or less what I figured. I guess we'll get there and work it out

It also means that some places close on Saturday night - The Thai Restaurant at Mira Hotel for instance.
yes max we had saved the thai for our last night, which was a saturday and was gutted when we got there and it was closed, and then to top it all ended up having the worse meal we have ever had in goa,
