Does the pool need to be heated in Albuferia in August?
We have been in June & we had a heated pool which we thought was needed. However we are looking at going in August but the villa owners want to charge £125 for heating the pool for 1 week! Is this reasonable?
Seriously though is the heating charge laid out prior to booking or is it advertised with heated pool and then they have hit you with this after booking?
We had a villa in Lagos a few years ago and didn't bother with heating the pool. It was a welcome relief to cool off to be honest and this was in September. We soon got acclimatised to the 'coolness.' Hope this helps.
We were in a villa a week back. Initially pool was cool but by end of week had warmed up and was quite pleasant for swimming - not quite as warm as the Andaman, but OK. So I imagine August would be even warmer.
The average daytime temperatures here just now are 31C/88F so a bit of cool water is what people need. Witness the huge numbers in the sea today, sea temp around 24C.
Thanks for all your replys. Most helpful. Think will we leave the pool heating & hope the weather is kind to us!!!
Hurray at last some warm sea - mind in saying that when we were in Salema we had 30deg heat and the first part of our holiday the sea was ffffreeezing. Then we went in one day and it was lovely and warmcubsur wrote:sea temp around 24C.
