as most mediteranean places are renoun for leather goods
i was wondering if it was the same in cyprus
i have always purchased dog collars whil;st on the med as they are of real good quality
can i pick this kind of stuff up in the protaras area???
A decent, leather dog collar is quite expensive in Cyprus - in comparison to UK, that is.
However, they do have some very nice chain collars with a very different design to the usual choker collar.
I just bought a leather collar and lead for a stray, rottweiller bitch puppy in one of the large supermarket chains only the other week and the cheapest collar was around Cy£4 plus. It worked out cheaper for me to buy a set of a red studded collar (not lined underneath) with one of the nylon web type leads and that was a little over Cy£8.

A new pet store - Pet Parade - has opened in Paralimni next to the Carrefour supermarket on 1st April Avenue. Not been there myself yet as I got out at the weekend. I'll report back if you like, if no-one else does.
