hi sarah, i have taking my jack russell becky to france twice now. she has always been made welcome wherever we have gone, biscuits bowls of water etc. no problem with chip, just make sure you keep paperwork up to date. you need to visit a vet 24-48 hours before your return to the uk so worth sorting that out early on in your hols. hope this helps.
