Its fine...would have no hesitation going there again. Its just past St Anthonys Chapel..not far from Osborne going up towards Candolim way. We always taxi from the airport and get there before the coach. This way if you don't like your room there is usually no hassle trying to change it. We didn't like our first room but the second one we were shown (straight in entrance ..walk straight through pass the pool and eating area...turn right and the stairs to that block were there) was fine. We had a window that overlooked the road at the back of the hotel where the temple elephant 'rests' during the day..and our balcony was overlooking the side road - so quite quiet. To be honest, we NEVER stay in the hotel long enough - eat breakfast (sometimes!) and out for the day but there were plenty of people that seemed to spend the whole day/evening there without venturing out.

now we have a new more saintly you, perhaps you would also write a review for us( )
LOL! Of course Fiona! In fact...I think I owe you TWO reviews! The other one is for the Falcon Resort BUT there are two hotels with this name so it could get confusing! The one we stayed at is the smaller one which is on the right hand side just before the main steps down onto Calangute beach. (smile)
Hi Nicnei

Just booked this hotel for XMAS 2007. really good price on portland direct £1850 2 weeks flying on 22nd of december from Birmingham.
does anyone have any recent info on hotel, seen somewhere that there is a family room near reception is this one of the best rooms or not, also how much is air con and do you need it, going in 2 weeks
it was probably me that posted about the family room. there is indeed one just down from the reception area. its away from the bar and pool and is one of the quieter rooms.
We are off to this hotel next christmas. How long does it take to walk to the beach ... The brochures seem to vary from 5 to 15 mins.
erm, 15 minutes sauntering, 5 minutes jogging lol!
