Hi
My question is i am about to book Birmingham airport on the Dreamliner to Mexico next April 2016. Having gone to Mexico before, it was a long day because we had to touch down for re fuel at Manchester airport before carrying on with the flight. Hence an added hour to Mexico.
I have rung Thomson up this morning to confirm the Dreamliner will go direct to Mexico and she said yes, however did state it could change, therefore it could/may touch down for refuelling etc.
I am in a bit of a quandary as to what to do here. I can fly from East mids but £400 more expensive. As anyone flew the Dreamliner from Birmingham to Mexico direct?
Thanks in advance
The 787-8 can go direct from BHX so shouldn't need a refuel, especially now the runway has been extended. Any flight to any destination could need to stop onroute, but it's scheduled to be non-stop.
Darren
Thanks Daz, all booked
Brum has had a runway extension built so that it can now do long haul with ease.
