Hi we doing some reasearch into driving to Zante and wondered if anyone has had any experience of doing this.
I have read a few blogs on the net and although a long journey it does sound like it could be a great adventure.
The most popular route seems to be France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece.
If anybody has any ideas or tips please share them.
Sarah
you will need an aqualung each for the last 50 or so miles
If you don't fancy the drive back you could look up information on Motorail services From Italy to Calais. We did this many years ago from Rimmini / Riccione and was a good wind down to a great holiday.. We had sleeper carriages through the night and the pricing back then was competitive with fuel and tolls etc..

Will need an Aqualung for more miles than that 3 Ferries in all Brian. Ferry from Calais to France or Eurotunnel, then Ferry from Venice, Brindisi or Anacona to Patra and from Kyllini to Zante.
Thanks for the tips Nut.
