I Was reading through the little guide airtours sent with my holiday tickets, and there was a little section on driving in egypt.

It said you needed to checkyour health with your GP, and do a 3 or 4 day course before you'd be allowed to go driving, and mentioned other restrictions, and I was thinking "heck - why are they so strict on this"

I then glanced at the section again, and realised it was about "DIVING"....

Mind you, having seen the way some motorists drive in and around Sharm, could be wise to have your heart checked before you go :yikes

Too true pippy. Going on the shuttle bus was more white knuckle than any of the rollercoasters in Florida.

In Aswan & Luxor you can tell if you are parked on double yellow lines by looking through the taxi floor.
