I have not done it to Tenerife but bought a complete PC and monitor by air with me into main land Spain and just walked through customs they did not want to know so I would think it will be the same for where you are going.

I would suggest you keep all the bills for the equipement handy so if the do stop you you can prove it is yours and where you bought it.

will let you know next week sailing from cadiz on 4th Feb. that is if i can get a phone line, the phone company don't want to even think about putting lines in until the whole development in el medano is complete, they have said if they put the lines in we would only use them for cheap calls using other companies! . the resident are taking them to court.so i ve been told

Just out of interest how much, if you don't mind me asking is it costing you on the ferry. My husband is thinking of doing this with some personal effects in June when we move there. Me and the kids are flying.

cadiz to tenerife about £600 with car 2 passengers, 2 berth inside cabin. price will rise if you have better cabins (we got the cheapest) and times of year. you can drive through france and spain to get to cadiz about 1400 miles or get a ferry portsmouth or plymouth to top end of spain and drive down to cadiz about 500 miles. no ferry's to spain until mid Feb. so i have to take the long drive. will post my experience here next week
