Really nice rooms (was in an executive room) great location (skytrain and metro right outside), Lumpini Park nearby (although I gather the market has since closed) and the joys of Patpong (I mean shopping obviously) within a couple of minutes walk.

I really enjoyed it. It's primarily a business hotel, and it feels so, but I would make it my first choice location wise (if I didn't stay in different hotels every time!).

Done! It's hard to realise it's a year old already though!

Club rooms- was that a standard one you had? Sounds very swish!

I have reserved a Club room too but as a (relatively new) member of L.H.W. I am supposed to get a free upgrade. Will advise on my return and will also do a review of hotel along with our Hong Kong digs. (Metropark).

Just need to sort out Krabi rooms now, been let down on La Playa (fully booked).

Try the Tubkaak. It's my favourite hotel in Thailand as everyone probably realises by now!

I had considered the Tubkaak but think its a bit pricy for our needs and it might be just a bit too quiet.

Just a quick note to say that the Dusit Thani is a quite wonderful hotel. OK , I am not used to staying in luxury hotels so have little comparison with other places to go on but in my opinion this place really was a little piece of heaven in the middle of such a crazy city !
