Visiting PR in 2 weeks time.
I know there are tons of places to eat in PR, but I can eat that sort of stuff home here, steaks, pizzas, Chinese, Indian and Big Macs.
What I want is suggestions of local restaurants, that serve Canarian/Spanish Food.
Any recomendations?
Balcon Canario in the main centre (next door to internet cafe) is where most locals and workers eat and Guantanamos in Tauro for an evening meal. Also enjoy La taberna (nice not traditional though)
Answering now my own question..........coz I am now back....here are my recommendations.
San Miguels, Puerto Rico...yes brilliant when you come off the beach and can't be bothered to cook.......real cheap and tons on your plate......can recommend the chicken and the steaks are huge and cooked to perfection (well mine were).
Tried others but didn't match San Miguels for value.
Tried various restaurants alledgidly cooking Canarian food, the best I found was at Amordores beach........The Palm restaurant.....first one you come to down the slope from Puerto Rico. EXCELLENT
Flippers at Amordores did value for money take away baguettes.
