hi all, I have visited Marmaris every year for the past 4 years and every time I have stayed at this hotel. It's in a great location, just behind the Daisy Bar and the beach and I have to say I have never been kept awake by noise. Its a great hotel, very clean, friendly staff that cant do enough for you and I would recomment it to anyone. I stay bed and breakfast, its a cold type buffet breakfast but if you are not fussy on that you can order full english from the restaurant, we ate there quite a few times and the meals were very nice indeed. I am looking forward to my next visit there in august .
Regards
Jackie
I'm going to Marmaris on the 27th July and staying in the Ebru. Was just wondering if anyone has stayed here before and what they thought of it? Have looked around other sites and have only ever found one bad review with the rest saying that it was excellent. I have looked around this site aswell but cant find any reviews on it...point me in the right direction if I'm wrong I know its only a 2 star but its only somewhere to sleep but then again i dont want to be staying in a pit.
What are the rooms like? Clean? big/small?
Is the pool any good?
Any help appreciated
You havent made a bad choice with the Ebru Hotel, me and my family have stayed in this hotel for the past 7 years. Its right on top of the beach, directly opposite the Gima Point shopping centre, which is very handy! It is quite a small hotel, the bar is outside of the hotel, as is the restaurant area, you can go indoors to eat, there are more tables there. There is a pool at the back of the hotel, with a seperate kids little bit, the pool isnt massive but it never seems to be mad busy so theres always plenty of space and lots of sunbeds. Its all british people in the hotel, havent come across any other nationality using it the whole time we have been there. There is safety deposit boxes at the reception for you to use, i think they were £7 a week last year, also the air-conditioning is payable seperate, i think it worked out to £15 per week last year, but its a must! The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, rooms are cleaned every day and bed linen and towels every other day, all rooms have a balcony. The hotel menu is absolutly delicious, I havent had a bad meal off it and the sunday roast is to die for. Turkish breakfast is served in the morning between 7-10, it consists of cheese, bread, olives, boiled eggs, tomato, cucumber and water melon, tea, coffee or orange juice. For the kids you can buy ice cream, lolly ices, crisps etc. The staff are great, the owner David is great, all the waiters will do anything for you and make your holiday there a great experience. If theres anything else you would like to know please ask.
Hope this helps
Jackie
