I thought the last departure of the day from Edinburgh would be the 22.15 Ryanair flight to Dublin though it seems to have been approx 45mins late taking off this evening.

Oh so it is , then security would close around 9pm , the point is airside in the dept lounge is closed after the last departing flight .

Definitely a few hours landside then, nothing I've not done before! Just far more comfortable with no arm rests.
