Just been having a look at the five day forecast for taba and there's alarming amounts of cloud cover.
I'm due to arrive on the 2nd April (not this Monday coming, but the next) so I hope it sorts itself out.
Does anyone know if they've been going through a dodgy weather patch recently!?!!!?!?!?!!?
Right now its 2.30 p.m. and the temp in the shade is 24.5 C, clear and sunny, fair breeze from any... rather nice actually. This morning early was pretty windy and yesterday was overcast practically the whole of the morning with hazy sun late afternoon and with temps around 22 C.
A few days ago it was cooler, which is not normal for late March, with temperatures down to 19 - 20 in the shade at mid-day.
So from the horses mouth...its better than most weather websites
But do have a look at the http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=1128" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" class="break-word">BBC Weather website for Dahab as it is just up the road...so to speak!
I do hope it gets better...I fly out next Thusday for a week at CSR
try this link and look at the 10 day forecast, looks OK to me!! I too am going on 2nd April...it will be lovely!!
I finished work today and am now really looking forward to some decent sunshine!
That G&T will be waiting for you
where do you get your pictures??!! Love that one, albeit still slightly dodgy!
im off to sharm next saturday as well . hadnt even looked at the weather as assumed it would be fantastic. youve all got me panicing now
Looks like it may be clearing a little, though some temperatures are still down in the teens / low twenties. I hope this will still feel warm enough to lay out in if there is a breeze as well!
hi i got back form taba last friday and the weather has been really good even if there was a slight breeze ,the sea is still a bit chilly but you soon get used to it ,hope the weather is good for you and have a great time.
It really is dodgy !
Yesterday... cloud... haze.... wind... sandstorm
Today... sunny... but very hazy... and very, very windy !
err thanks for that....can you make sure it's all passed over by next Friday?
So, from today (Sunday) through to next Saturday, they read 19, 20, 17, 19, 21, 26, 29 (all degrees celcius).
As I said, I'm due to arrive on the next Monday, so it looks like the Hyatt Regency may be trying to sort the weather out for me as I politefully requested a few days back. Now that's what I call service.
Incidentally, Swiss mentioned the wind being a little strong, but how much wind is strong anyway? Some days, the forecast predicts wind around 12/113mph, is that strong?
evening temps are still around the 6,7,8 degrees, will this feel 'cold'? ie. Trousers and jumper weather???
Many thanks.
the forecast predicts wind around 12/113mph
I think that once it gets over 60mph, Joe, you should think about lashing your sunbed to something substancial!
Twelve one hundred and thirteenths of a mile per hour isn't even a zephyr though Carrot
I wonder whether Egyptian building standards would allow the hotels to stand up to 113mph gusts?
Just where can I find something " substancial " ???????
Swisscare, after an all night bender on the Marmite.
That's substancial and sticky, but don't know that it would be any good in the wind.
Probably better for the wind than in it, Apple!
As long as I'm up not down ....... does he ever mix it with pickled onions?
Very very clear skies today.
Brisk breeze all day.
But still not as warm as it should be.
Daytime around 22 C in the shade, night down to 16 C ( in the shade )
Which is much cooler than late March is supposed to be.
