Can;t help too much Jillm but i Understand that the Trhree Corners have just opened a new one in Marsa Alam 4* I think

We stayed at the Calimera Habiba last year and had a great time and have booked to return this May. Very nice rooms especially the suites and a free shuttle bus to Abu Dabbab where the snorkeling is fantastic. Personally I would stay away from the port where the 3 corners and other hotels are due to the amount of building going on, I think there are 4 or 5 hotels open so far but there will be 23 and lots of other buildings when it is finished and space for 1000+ yachts so it has some way to go until it is finnished although others have stayed in the area and said building not a problem.
