When we were there it was full and that was in June. Never felt over crowded though. The pool is fab, and as all guests are British, they do ask not to reserve sunbeds until after 9.15am, some people still did but you could always get a bed, and in your welcome meeting they do tell you to ask for more beds if you cant find one! Parasols all around the pool aswell which is great as I love the sun but at times it was unbearable! It really is a fab place and I wouldn't hesitate to go back, but for me there are too many places to go to keep going back to the same hotel.
You wont be disappointed, this was the first time we'd been to Cyprus and we totally love it, will definatley return soon.
Hi could anyone please tell me how much it costs to upgrade to AI in the resort per person
https://www.debliteckserver1.com/aquasol/article.php?id=81
I'd suspect their pricing has changed since 2007 so at least you'll get it from the horses mouth so to speak
You could try emailing or phoning them directly here : I'd suspect their pricing has changed since 2007 so at least you'll get it from the horses mouth so to speak
Has anyone had any experience of this place recently, or visited near there, so I could know a little more about it, please?
I am due to book today or tomorrow, so any info would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi. Not being funny here, but 3 Adults at The Electra. Are you sure you want this?, as this hotel is mostly family orientated with LOTS of children. The pool is busy all day from 7am to 6pm.
By all means I'm not knocking the place as the location for Ayia Napia is great, and I take it thats what your off to Cyprus for.
It's just personally if I were going with just my partner I don't think I would be booking at a Family Plus Hotel. Unless of course the price is too good to let go.
We don't mind a place with kiddies running round, we're used to family holidays.. plus you're right, the deal was great, £556 for the 3 of us for a week... you can't knock it!
We tend to go to the beach in the daytime, and out for the evenings, so not really worried about a busy hotel situation, we're only going to be sleeping there really..
One week to go.. whoohoo!!
Do you have any idea how much to go AI at electra if you are justed booked SC. Adults and Children age 12 and 8. Thank you
We're not really walkers as such, especially when it's hot... we had a taxi every night into Ayia Napa, which cost 7 Euros, we were told it was 7 euros anywhere in the vicinity, then 8 euros afer 8pm, so not too bad at all. The taxi drivers were all very friendly, even offering sweets, and welcoming us to their country, they do not even expect tips, although we almost always did.
The Electra is along a couple of lonely dark lanes at night, and I wouldn't have walked down these, or along the dark beach path alone after dark.
The hotel itself was ok, typically 3 star I would have said.. I will add a review when time permits. It is right on a small beach, which is rocky under foot in the sea, and you have to be careful. The best beach we thought out of the few famous ones near, was Nissi beach.. nice and sandy in and out of the sea. But quite crowded and full of young beautiful people! Beach beds and umbrellas were half the price of Spain I have to say, at 2 euros each for the day.
Overall I don't think our holiday was any more expensive that we are used to in Spain, but is far cleaner, and the people so much friendlier... the bars and restaurants on the whole were a high standard, and very decorative. Not the typical blackpool abroad at all..
We shall return!
Just got back fro a Electra with our 2 young boys and had a wonderful time.
While we was there the entertainer played The Electra club song every night Just wondering if anyone knows what it's called as my kids are pestering me to get it.
Many Thanks

Hello just wondered if anyone has been here lately? Just managed to get a brilliant deal for this hotel in may and am so excited already. Does anyone know where it is in comparison to the Panas hotel?
If you check the MAPs section in the Cyprus forum you'll be able to see the Panas Holiday Village and the Electra on the Ayia Napa Map
Has anyone been here lately? Or no anything we don't? Am starting to panic as cant find any recent reviews.
3 weeks to go and counting....were all really excited except worried about the lack of reviews for this year. I know it's early yet, Anyone been here for easter?
Hi All,My son is of to the Electra Village Soon, can any member give me any info about it, e,g how far to the Beach,Water park ect and does the room have a fridge and aircon, Thanks Sue
The hotel is virtually beach front, about 100 yards from the end of the pool to the sea, but it's rocky there and you are better off turning right and following the coast path for about 10-15 mins to Nissi Bay.
The hotel rooms are clean and have a fridge (if you are S/C) and air con.
It's probably a 20 minute walk to the centre of Napa where the bars and clubs are, but we found that better than paying £5 for a taxi each way.
Also check out the reviews.
Regards, Julian
can anybody tell me how much food and drink is in nissi bay/ayia napa?
