                Hi Paul,
You will find that the better hotels will have sockets that will accept either the European 2 pin plug or the 3 pin UK plug.
If you have a 2 pin European adapter then you will be OK
Enjoy yourself!

I've never seen a British 3 pin plug in all our visits to Thailand but having Australian plugs I've never looked for them We always take an adaptor for a round 2 pin that suits both Europe and South East Asia.

I believe nowadays you can buy a multi adaptor that will fit all sockets.
Cheers Geri

yes we have a multi adaptor but I have actually stayed in hotels that have the 3 pin plug.Pete- did the Shangri La have the 3 pin?

I've never seen the UK three pin sockets in any of the hotels I've been to either. Just tend to use our standard European two pin adapter.

                Sunbear / Fiona - Hi
The Landmark accepts 3 Pin UK, as I recall.
The Shangri-La accepted 2 pin euro plugs

Just thinking back to my trip in October.. I'm sure I had to use an adapter to two pin in order to plug my laptop in at the Landmark. When I lived in BKK all my sockets were two pin.

                Hi Tolsti,
paulisreal will be better off with a two pin adapter.
The Landmark, deluxe corner roomes, definitely had a multi socket that accepted UK plugs.
Strangely enough, the last time we were there we had a suite and I cannot remember the multi-socket being available.
We have also encountered multi-sockets elsewhere - but for the life of me I cannot remember where

Bali does and also we had in the Shangri la in KL.
I thought we had had in Landmark and we were in corner room, but couldn't swear to it.

We went in Nov (off again in February - long story!) & we saw both types at the Oriental but if you take a standard European adaptor with you, you'll be fine.
