My daughter just got married at the Elegance hotel and it seemed really nice, It has a beachfront location with pool and bars etc. it is situated near Migros if you know Marmaris.

i have booked the ege park but want to change after reading the latest post has anyone been to the elgant or club aladdin thanks stef

Nowhere under the hotels section for me to leave a review so here goes:

This was the second hotel I checked into this week (the first being shocking and I would have given it 0*).

This one is allegedly 5* but would get 3 at best - there are some English people here so I presume it is in a brochure or two.......but mostly other Europeans.

Hotel rooms outdated, linens etc have seen better days, not particularly clean and on the small side, view non-existent, soundproofing between rooms a joke.........

Restaurant - go down for dinner after 8pm and not one clean table - they are empty but not cleared and never set up again and despite asking they won'tset up for you........food not great quality, certainly not hot enough and would not pass any normal standards for temperature (I should know, I'm a qualified health & hygiene inspector in the US amongst many other things).

Overall it would be OK, if the prices charged were more in line with a 3* property..........

uuf361, it's a shame you didn't join this site before. Just checked a few reviews on another site and none were good about the hotel you are staying at. One generously said don't expect 5 star service i presume it's not expensive? This person did say they had been the only English people there. Sorry but please don't judge the whole of Marmaris and every hotel by the standards you are staying in now. I have stayed 2*and it was the cleanest place i've ever stayed staff very welcoming and accommodating. I'm sure there are many people on here who will agree with me. Saying that it doesn't help you and i can only hope you manage to enjoy some of the days till the end of your holiday

Actually wasn't a holiday....was there on business which was almost as bad.....and not cheap at £75 half board........avoid at all costs people!

hi i have got a good price for the above hotel but can only find 2 reviews on it on another site has anyone been recently want to book it tomorrow before it goes, it is not the same as the elegance This is definately called elegant hotel near burger king and macdonalds hoping someone can help thanks

We are thinking of booking up for the Elegant Hotel in Marmaris but I can't find any info on it. Has anyone been there, what is it like etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

stefsmith , it is a fair walk between macdonalds and burger king ,,they are not close to each other . a burger king use to be near macdonalds but that as since gone , i presume you mean the macdonalds on main street in the center of marmaris as the other is down by migros,, the burgerking is further up near to the statue ,so is a fair walk between the 2 ,

hi i stayed at elegant in october for half a week didnt move because it was but but because of the locations and the fact the captain obinson said we could stay at kocer club for free! so who could refuse that offer!! the rooms are quite small at elegant but enough if you arent on a family holiday. there arent any cooking facilities but its clean. one of the members of staff is a bit creepy but the rest are lovely especially one of the main guys he was lovely cant remember his name though!! hope this helps
