The bar has moved and is now called the Eurka Corner bar. It is opposite the hotel papi in the same road as Robin Hood, Rovers return, legends etc. In fact every other bar except for The Swan, Mini Bar and the New Hope and Anchor. The old man who ran it, now runs the mini bar and his sons runs the corner bar and The Black Bull (next to the Robbin Hood). I hope this helps.

And they havn`t got any apartments at the new place,more`s the pity.

Mr`s Pilar tells us next year an apartment block built on the site of the old Eureka will have some room for guests who want somewhere to stay.

We visited Malgrat in 2004 and spent a great deal of time in the Eureka bar, does anyone know if the new bar operates the same way i.e. theme nights etc. The rest of the bars on the strip are mainly of the cafe variety.

Not sure, only went in a few times and it seemed to operate like a typical bar you find anywhere on the Costa's- Big TV screen, karaoke, Quiz and a raffle etc. The bar was one of the busiest (I was there in August), along with Robin Hood. Myself and my wife had our 2 year old son with us and preferred the new bar called 'Legends'. They seemed to cater more for families and had free quizzes with prizes for everyone etc, and gave out loads of free sweets to the children.
