when i went into first choice on sat to pick up tickets they were offering 1.18/1.19...really bad rate...i bought travellers cheques 3 months ago and we got 1.31...which now is great but even at the time i thought that wasnt to good...should have bought more!!

What are they offering out in Rhodes?, we have some Euro's left from last year to see us through day 1 & 2, so thinking about takeing some Sterling out & see what we can get. We are going on the 23rd Jul.

I think you'll get about 1.23ish.

anyone in the london area wanting euros you should use one of the exchange places by queensway station. They have lots of tourists around there selling euros and buying pounds so thats where they make their money. they therefore have lots of euros and want to sell them back for pounds so will offer the best rate even spot. (spot is the technical term used in the money markets for the daily trading rate which is better than the commercial rate)
