Hello
Going to Cala Bona next week,is it better to buy euros here or are you getting a better rate in Marjorca
Thanks
I have often changed cash at a jewellers next door to the bike hire shop near the Hotel Levante and for the last few years it has given me a better exchange rate than at home (albeit by only a euro or two) with no commission (the rate is listed on a blackboard outside).
Today's exchange rate (in Magaluf) is 1.42 euros to the pound with no commission. I think taking into account commissions its usually better to exchange over here in Mallorca.
I ordered euros from HSBC on Friday and they arrived at my door first thing on Saturday. No commission and no delivery charge as I ordered £300 worth. I got just over 1.43 I used this site as recommended on here
