Exchange rates?

Hi, can any one tell us if an exchange rate ie £ to Euro would be better in Malta than in uk? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
Hiya, my mum in law texted me yesterday (mon 17th march) and said over there the rate was only 1.25, a month ago they were getting 1.31.

on any given day, the rate is normally better in Malta than in the UK
I have just returned and was getting 1.28e for £1.00 but it then dropped to 1.25e.
By this time next year it'll probably be equal
