I am off to Alcudia in a couple of weeks
and i was wondering if there is any problem with exchanging scottish notes into euros.I know in the past in some resorts they dont really accept them.

I speak as a proud Scot...but, if in doubt why take Scottish notes. Go into your bank and ask them to issue you with English notes. Or buy travellers cheques, or use your bank card at an ATM in Mallorca.
put the money in a nationwide flex account.and then use that to get money out...takes only a week if that.
