There are several excursions available from Sharm, I think the easiest way to tell you about them is to provide you with a link to a couple of companies that can show you a bit about and give prices for all the available excursions.

I will point out that I am not recommending these particular companies in anyway but they have good websites enabling you to view what is available.

There are many different companies in Sharm that will sell you all the excursions so you can take a look when you get there and compare prices etc, we used a company up beside the Sonesta Beach Hotel called Oonas (they have a hotel & dive centre) and didn't have any problems with them.

You can go snorkeling from the beach in Naama Bay however the coral there has suffered badly due to tourism, if you want to stay locally you are probably best to go to one of the other small bays like Sharks Bay. Take a taxi and it will only be a few LE but remember to haggle and agree the price before getting in.

For the very best snorkeling you have to go out the area and visit Ras Mohammed or Tiran Island and there are day trips available from Sharm if you want them
