You will certainly need Euros in Rhodes. I don't recommend trying to change TL because you will get a terrible rate. Plenty of cashpoint machines scattered around, which will be a much better bet, or change sterling.
Enjoy Rhodes, it is a lovely city.
Come to think of it, I'll be there myself tomorrow (I'd forgotten ), but only until the evening ferry to Symi.
