Hi, for someone who might be in the same situation as me, I did manage to fly to Portugal with an expired passport and I'd. I had booked a flight from Manchester to Lisbon with Ryanair but they wouldn't let me fly so I called TAP Portugal to asked if they would let me fly and they said yes but only if I had a Portuguese passport and if it was expired for less than 5 years. I'm currently leaving the Lisbon airport. Good luck to you all
