anyone used this company to book holidays before?? got the number off my mum who says they find you great deals and cheap holidays rather then booking through thomascook etc.
They seem nice on the phone and im waiting on a call back for majorca/menorca villas/hols.
A quick quote for a villa in menorca is £2500... thought that wasnt bad.... not sure if it was 1/2 weeks tho.
Firstly, the website is registered to the same address as they show in the "Contact Us" section which is always good!
But then it all goes downhill. The address is in a suburb of Alicante in a mostly residential street - don't be taken in by UK phone numbers and .co.uk web domains, they mean nothing these days.
There's mention of membership fees, not sure whether that's for you or the people who want the property let, there is an element of time share trading going on here. They do offer hotels as well but it looks like you still have to be a member.
And of course, the advertised prices are for the accomodation and do not include flights or transfers. At this point you start to lose package holiday regulation protection (not that it would be easy to enforce if dealing with a company in Spain).
They sell cheap, but not so cheap that you smell a rat, if that makes sense. For example if it was something that would be £3,000 with a genuine company they wont sell it for £1,000 as that is too good to be true, but more like £2,000. They have specialised in the Balerics in the last few years.
If it's a Villa, I would ask if you can be given the details of the owners to speak with ? Most villa owners are happy to speak with prospective renters. Also if it goes wrong its far easier to sue someone in your own Country under UK law than it is to sue someone or a company that is located abroad.
I don't think this is one of the bogus sites bleeding data of genuine pages, we've run into a few of those and they don't tend to have traceable addresses (unless you're very good at Turkish postcodes!). I think this is some form of Holiday Club but you'd need to be very careful to understand what you were signing for.
