Whitening toothpaste? Lol, how funny, but worth a shot. :D

Erm, keep washing them? And use a pumice stone or hard skin remover? Only not too hard. I reckon it will have faded almost completely by the time you go, after all you are always walking on your feet.

Oh yes, have you tried constantly wiping them on a rug/carpet? :D

I'm not helping much..............

DQueen..........I highly recommend the St. Tropez corrector it's FAB
It's the best I've found and I like to think I've tried them all over the years

You can get it in Boots if you need it quickly

Good Luck x

p.s I know it will seem odd but IF I've ever run out or had a big emergency.....like spraying all the grout in the shower brown !!! I've used Ace (laundry bleach) to remove it safely and I found it removed all traces of spray tan from palms of my hands.....with no adverse reaction as it's so mild. I therefore tried it on a dark brown patch on my ankle last year on a cotton woll ball and it was a miracle...completely obliterated it :D A little odd I know and I wouldn't advocate it's use for large body patches but when in a pickle it's perfecto

I have the St Tropez fake tan remover but it says it works up to 4 hours after applying the fake tan. Is the corrector something different?

Have you got a foot spa? If so perhaps you could have that on high for half an hour. It might help a bit, especially if you use it each day until you go.

Hey Thanks everyone... I think we have a foot spa, got a bad feeling my mum gave it away though! I'm off out tomorrow for ace bleach and st tropez corrector :D I'll see if I can find the spa.

I've just gone through my case (again) and taken some stuff out, picked my (very bright pink) case up, and it was filthy! Bright orange patches! So I had a massive panick, thinking my clothes would all be stained, my mum sat there with a face like a smacked backside saying "told you so" so everything white is now in the wash!

Why can't extremly pasty skin be in fashion again?

Why can't extremly pasty skin be in fashion again?

 Wouldn't that be wonderful! The things we do to look good  I bought some individual fake tan wipes yesterday - I usually use a lotion (never tried spray) but I don't want to take a bottle of lotion on holiday with me because: 1) it might burst and leak all over my clothes, 2) it'll be heavy and I'm trying to keep my luggage weight down. I like to use fake tan on holiday because I'm very fair skinned and never come home with a 'proper' tan, so I use fake tan for a couple of day before we come home so I look OK getting off the plane back in Manchester.
As for Ace bleach - I spilt some on my hands once and it made my skin all white and wrinkly and felt funny, but it was OK after I'd washed and moisturised - just be careful with it

Thanks Cyber. I might get some wipes instead... i won't need the spray then :-)

I'll give the ace bleach a try... but I have awful skin, I am allergic to most soaps! So I can see this being quite funny! But I'll try anything to get these stains off! I've tried tan remover wipes, lemon juice, neat tee tree oil, whitening toothpaste, an exfoliating glove scrub! So I'll try whatever it takes.

Dramaqueen,

After a couple of days in the sun you probably wont even see it any more. Im sure it's far more obvious to you than it is to others.

Thanks SS:

Don't know, it was my mum who pointed it out! Although I have discovered the cif lemon creme, oxy clean and upholstry cleaner, the cif worked on a slight streak on my hand, the oxy and upholstry cleaner worked on my suitcase, so I am going to soak my feet in some oxy clean, squirt them with upholstry cleaner, and rub in some cif for good luck!

Dramaqueen wherever did you get your name from? :D

Alcohol wipes are always good to get rid of streaks or mistakes, i suppose the alcohol hand rub might work aswell.

Ooh yes thanks tigger, I've got some of that. I'll give that a go! :D

Oooh, just had a thought. Nail varnish remover?

Brilliant! I'll give that a go today as well! The alcohol rub did take some off, i got some ace bleach today, and i'll give the nail polish remover a go

right!

I soaked my feet in ace bleach, then after 3 minutes, wiped them, and they were starting to look better, then i washed them in water and got some nail polish remover on some kitchen roll and scrubbed away, and that started working as well... my feet were starting to look a bit better when I decided to de-fluff in the shower using veet on my legs (I normally get a rash after, but it's totally worth it! So I de-fluff about 3 days before the flight) and to my horror, as I got the sponge (the in shower kit) and rubbed the leg hairs off, the bit of fake tan on my legs came off! So I comes down elated! Put some hair remover creme on the soles of my feet, and scrubbed away, and towel dried, and now!!! I'm starting to see my original feet! there's still some marking on them, but nowhere near as bad, so I'm going to repeat tomorrow!

The girls in the chemist almost wet themselves when they saw my feet today!

Thanks everyone!

:rofl don't mind, at least my little disaster is entertaining! my mum made me take my shoes off last night and show all her workmates! One poor woman had to sit down for laughing! She knows how vain I am! But yeah, I'm keeping a good supply of ace bleach, nailpolish remover and veet! And I'm sticking to self tan wipes from now on!
