hi guys looking for a family holiday, not too lively but not quiet either, it has to be within walking distance to shops/bars/cafes/town and as flat as possible as my mum has rheumatoid arthritis so dont want too much walking around hills etc or too much of a distance from things.
Thanks for your time
Try Monte Gordo........very flat, long promenade with fabulous beach for the kids and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Not quiet but not loud (really depends on when you are going?)
Thanks for the quick reply
I prefer the east side as it is less commercialised than the west , unless you go further to the west to places like Lagos etc.
It is close to the Spanish border ( about 20 mins).
When are you wanting to go? That will depend on how busy it will be. What do you want to do? Will you have a car etc?
Pat
thinking of going in May, probably get a taxi or airport transfer firm to get us there, basically wanting a relaxing holiday but not boring, in a central location,, going to see if i can hire a villa or apartment for this.
