We are looking at Spanish locations, either mainland or any of the islands. The problem we are finding is units of accommodation big enough for us as most seem to be for 2-3 adults. We can't have separate rooms for personal reasons so we would need a 2 bed apartment or similar.
We are looking to spend as little as possible per person as we don't require 5* luxury, our last few years holidays have been camping so anything brick built will be luxury for us!
I have been searching the budget sites like icelolly and onthebeach etc and they do come up with some interesting prices but when I check the accommodation they usually allocate 2x studio or 1 bed apartments, even at hotels that do have 2 bed apartments!! Would I be able to get the accommodation I need by phoning them to book??Any help would be appreciated as the price difference between the budget websites and tour operators is quite a lot. We are thinking about travelling in July, before the main school holidays as it seems to work out a little cheaper.
Am I just daydreaming?
