Quick question re your cost of living post at the Seaview.
You say a pint of local beer was 3.85 and San Miguel 4.80
What was the local beer? I can only remember them selling San Miguel on draft.
It was €4.50 for a pint last summer.
I only drink San Miguel I'm afraid, so I cant remember the name of the other beer on draught 
I only know the price of the other (it's certainly within a few cents) because someone we met was drinking it.
I did try it, but wasn't too impressed

Cheers, thinking about it i think it may be Estrella Damm which i have tried and wasn't keen on either.
Don't think it was Estrella, it did have some taste
