Plus one for Chris Rea -when I was working away from home a few years ago, and one of my daughters was at Uni fairly near where I worked, Driving Home was our favourite on the 4 hour journey back for Xmas break.

He can even make traffic jams seem Christmassy and fun ⛄☃❄

Chris Rea is from my home town & married a girl from the school I attended, & wrote a song about us called Stainsby girls.

I too love driving home for Christmas as my husband works away from home & I always imagine him battling the traffic to get home (every Friday, not just Christmas) 👍

I love hearing all the Christmas carols though.
