Try these websites for info on ferry crossings -

http://www.navieraarmas.com

http://www.fredolsen.es/Lineas/index.htm

http://www.trasmediterranea.es

the last one of these has an in English option, the other two you might need an online translater such as -

Hope this helps.

We are going to Gran Canaria next June for 2 weeks, staying in Playa Del Ingles. My partners Sister lives in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, and we want to turn up and surprise her one day, and perhaps spend one night in Tenerife.

Can anybody tell me if there is a hydroil or something that goes there? How long it takes, how much it costs, how frequent, how far from our resort, etc?

We would ask my Sister-in-Law but it won't be a surprise visit then!

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
