I have just booked to stay in the Ruka Log Cabins from 30 Dec 07 - 5 Jan 08. And I can't wait! I'm very excited about New Year in the snow!

Has anyone stayed here before?

Has anyone been to Ruka and can give me any info on the resort?

Has anyone been to Ruka for New Year? Are there any particular festivities organised?

holiday in Lapland

Hi my first time on the forum, so i don't know if i'm doing it right. :oops:

I am hoping to go to Lapland Xmas time with the boyfriend and the 3 kids (aged 5, 7 and 9). Can anyone help me with regards to destination and which holiday company to use. I really want it to be a fantastic experience and have forfited summer hols so we can go to Lapland. Any replies much appriciated. Thank and hope to hear from someone soon.
