Straight to Mandrem, nice chicken kebab, a cheese & chilli naan mmmmmm, and then sleep off the jet lag under one of their big shades (sorry in advance to all those we will disturb with our snoring ), then to Souymens for the first great evening meal. My god my mouth is watering already
our first night meal for the last 2 years has been in Mango Grove Candolim.
Ours has also been the Mango Grove for the last two years, this year it was breakfast as we got to our hotel at 8am and the year before it was a snack in the afternoon.
Ours has been The Chinese Garden in Calangute for the last two years.
Ifs its early morning, we shower, unpack and then head straight to our favourite beach shack, The Oceanic.
If its the evening probably not somewhere too far away from the Marinha Dourada, in March we went to Kim Faa in Baga, but that one can change with each visit.
Dhal fry at the Tulip in Calangute or the beach shack depending on time of arrival. jan x
usually straight down to Sam's Paradise - kings, kings, more kings sitting in the shack, just to unwind for the first day, food later!

think if they had their way they would go out before us and wait for us to arrive,
i cant wait for a meal at the spice garden ,just wont do it on the first night,
i am getting desperate for a kings
First meal is always Chicken Xacuti at the Ronil
Our first meal will be at Jolly Boys beach shack on Calangute beach and the next will be I95.
Don't care what it is, or what time of day it is, as long as it's on the beach, and has no hint of England about it! By the time I arrive, I don't want to be reminded of the UK
boscos beach shack (baga) beef sizzler and of course a bottle of kings ,and wife singapore noodles and a bottle of baccardi breezer (jamaican passion).
First daytime is a chicken biryani at Mama Cecelias shack & the evening meal is usually a chicken chilly fry and a couple of chappattis at the Seashell and maybe a bottle of Kings or two

Holiday only allow 3 weeks in Candolim per year so eat in a different restaurant every night. Delhi Durbur and East Meets West for something a little different.
