Club Aida gets good reports as does Club Turquoise (my second home), Club Alize, Club Julian, Excelsior etc etc etc. All within walking distance of the main drag. All are apartments but all serve good food too.

you dont say if you are taking children with you, all the apartments mentioned in the previous post are excellent, i found the excelsior great, it can be noisy at night, we found the loud music went on until 3am sometimes, the rosy apartments are nice, and not as far out as the excelsior, this year will be our 18th year to marmaris, hoping to take the grandkids this year, the people are the best you could ever wish to meet.
you will get a bit of hassle from the shop owners and restaurants, but i always found a polite "no thankyou " worked. if you need any more tips mail me i would be glad to help if i can, it might be worth you looking at the marmaris street map you can see for yourself where all the hotels and apartments are.

Stopped at the Aida & Alize and are going to the Aida again this year both are loverly places to stay. In my opinion these two hotels are more for people who have children, both are not too noisey at night and I love the walk down to the beach front on a night too.
Stayed at the Alize last year and i think its one of the best places to stay, its cleanliness is outstanding and if you have children then the entertainers are brilliant, there just as good if your adults. Club Alize is exclusive to first choice though. I would recommend it x
We passed the Aida apts last year, they look really nice.We travel without children and personally wouldnt suit us,but for families I dont think you can get better,we prefer a smaller complex.
Sorry i forgot to say that we are in our 50s and will be on our own and would prefer apartments or a hotel without too many kids.Any tips would be most welcome.
