Hi,

me and a friend are seriously considering a trip to thailand next year and i was wondering if anyone could help me with the following -

- Costs, i know how much flights are going to cost but what is the average cost of getting by in thailand?, we are hoping to go for 3 weeks, costs of food, drinks, getting around and hotels would be very helpfull

- Season, When is the best time to go?, i have heard march/april time is very popular with tourists, is this true?, i am also not too keen on going in the rain season, so any advice on when that is would be appreiciated too.

-Region, and lastly i was wondering which is the best place to stay, obviously we will be travelling about but would like to know where to base ourselves, preferably, somewhere traditional but at the same time, somewhere with a vibrant night life
